Oh, wait a minute, I get it, he's a quota cop!! KBO, David. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 23 Aug 2008 14:10:19 -0700 From: "Willy Floyd" Subject: MGR Eduardo: I am rather surprised that you did not read my earlier messages regarding the sought for changes. If, by mustering a large block of pro-gun voters across the country to vote GREEN we can convince both major parties that we are united, and demanding that C 68 be scrapped, that is my aim #1. If that does not achieve the desired result and we succeed in aiding one or two Greens to be elected, we will, by majority action, revise the Green Policy on Gun Control to at least what it was pre Lizzy May. I much prefer that we achieve aim #1, even by having Harper precipitate the election be introducing a Bill that calls for the repeal of C 68. That, plus two other actions he can take even as they run an election campaign might just get him the majority he craves. But he has to come to us!!! But if we do not succeed in convincing all those who cry for a united action that only the MGR is a viable action at this late date, we will dither ourselves into a weaponless slave market. Remember, there are thousands of usually loyal Liberals and Conservative that are pissed right off at Harper and Dion. Where do you think they will be parking their protest vote? Right where they did in 2006! I have the figures to prove that every unpopular Conservative MP lost many votes to the Greens. And a shift of five thousand votes to the Greens will seriously disrupt the plans of about 30 MPs who sneaked in by 3000 votes or less. And no matter which way a shift like that occurs in 2008/9 there will be much head scratching in every Party Election Planning Office. The concept of parking a protest vote with a party that isn't going anywhere is not new. Am I the only one who ever did just that with the Rhinoceros Party? Hell, they used to get tens of thousands of such protest votes. Quite frankly, I am convinced that any disgruntled formerly loyal voter who does not see the MGR as a viable alternative, has no hope of ever finding an alternative. He is thus self-condemned to bowing down to whoever wins. That is not what Freemen do. Willy, a self-confessed Freeman who salutes, but does not bow. ------------------------------ End of Cdn-Firearms Digest V11 #1014 ************************************ Submissions: mailto:cdn-firearms-digest@scorpion.bogend.ca Mailing List Commands: mailto:majordomo@scorpion.bogend.ca Moderator's e-mail address: mailto:drg.jordan@sasktel.net List owner: mailto:owner-cdn-firearms@scorpion.bogend.ca FAQ list: http://www.canfirearms/Skeeter/Faq/cfd-faq1.html Web Site: http://www.canfirearms.ca CFDigest Archives: http://www.canfirearms.ca/archives To unsubscribe from _all_ the lists, put the next four lines in a message and mailto:majordomo@scorpion.bogend.ca unsubscribe cdn-firearms-digest unsubscribe cdn-firearms-chat unsubscribe cdn-firearms end (To subscribe, use "subscribe" instead of "unsubscribe".)
