Bush`s.and his attitude towards gun -control ed/on ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 07 May 2008 23:01:05 -0400 From: Lee Jasper Subject: POLs, registration, etc. Many thanks to the Energizer Bunny for digging the info out of the Lib of Parl lawyers. Gun ownership as a pre-condition for a POL confirms our conjecture and Bruce's recap of The Law. But is my recollection that POL holders also owned restricted, faulty? On the FA not permitting a reg certif. to be issued to more than one person; I have first-hand knowledge that this is NOT accurate. (Or was this something we were able to do just prior to Ch. 39 becoming law)? The Lib of Parl legal type further states that joint ownership between husband and wife is also not permitted by the FA. Again, I have knowledge this exists among shooting couples. (Again, was this a ruse only available prior to Ch. 39)? Might I submit that 'the wife' sharing a dwelling sans keys or combination to 'the vault' would not appear to be in either legal possession or ownership of vault's contents. ------------------------------ End of Cdn-Firearms Digest V11 #413 *********************************** Submissions: mailto:cdn-firearms-digest@scorpion.bogend.ca Mailing List Commands: mailto:majordomo@scorpion.bogend.ca Moderator's e-mail address: mailto:drg.jordan@sasktel.net List owner: mailto:owner-cdn-firearms@scorpion.bogend.ca FAQ list: http://www.canfirearms/Skeeter/Faq/cfd-faq1.html Web Site: http://www.canfirearms.ca CFDigest Archives: http://www.canfirearms.ca/archives To unsubscribe from _all_ the lists, put the next four lines in a message and mailto:majordomo@scorpion.bogend.ca unsubscribe cdn-firearms-digest unsubscribe cdn-firearms-chat unsubscribe cdn-firearms end (To subscribe, use "subscribe" instead of "unsubscribe".)
