Ackermann, MD" Check out this neat map that shows the distribution of murders in Tronna: http://www3.thestar.com/static/googlemaps/starmaps.html?xml=homicides.xml Now compare to this one that shows where the lawful gun owners are: http://www.cdnshootingsports.org/publ_pdfs/ontario_legal_firearm_map_200601.pdf Pretty darned self-evident, hmm? .......................................................................... What was even more interesting was the actual breakdown of the deaths. Toronto the Bad - 15 shootings and 11 other deaths resulting from Stabbing, and blunt force trauma and a couple of other methods Peel 3 shootings and 9 others from other means ,stabbings etc. York 1 drowning no indication whether it was an accident or as a result of someone's negligent use of a pool. York 1 shooting , 1 blunt force trauma. So we have a total of 19 shooting deaths in an area indicating no or very little legal ownership of guns and in the same area we have 22 other people mostly stabbed or beaten to death. All in all pretty compelling evidence to stay away from Toronto the bad! Strange though how we do not hear the bleating of Miller and the rest of his sheep regarding the stabbings etc. Jim Hill Fletchers Lake, NS ------------------------------ End of Cdn-Firearms Digest V11 #616 *********************************** Submissions: mailto:cdn-firearms-digest@scorpion.bogend.ca Mailing List Commands: mailto:majordomo@scorpion.bogend.ca Moderator's e-mail address: mailto:drg.jordan@sasktel.net List owner: mailto:owner-cdn-firearms@scorpion.bogend.ca FAQ list: http://www.canfirearms/Skeeter/Faq/cfd-faq1.html Web Site: http://www.canfirearms.ca CFDigest Archives: http://www.canfirearms.ca/archives To unsubscribe from _all_ the lists, put the next four lines in a message and mailto:majordomo@scorpion.bogend.ca unsubscribe cdn-firearms-digest unsubscribe cdn-firearms-chat unsubscribe cdn-firearms end (To subscribe, use "subscribe" instead of "unsubscribe".)
