His lack of gravitas as a leader on the world stage is glaringly apparent. The fact that his judgement would not prevent him from vacationing on the private island of the Aga Khan is indicative of his sense of self-entitlement. Attempting to play the role of international statesman merely makes him look ridiculous, out of his depth when he isn't blathering about "diversity" being our strength as a nation in the face of what "diversity" has brought to the EU nations that have embraced it as their political mantra. As for not killing our enemies lest they win, what a pathetic position for a national leader to take in view of the world reality. I was never a believer in the current popularity of the "cultural Marxism" philosophy and what that entails geo-politically, but the more I hear about it, the more I give it credibility as a phenomenon of the current political reality. These things tend to come in waves as if some 'think tank' somewhere throws a dart at a board to determine the next plague to inflict upon the populace in the race for ultimate control and the breakdown of historic cultural values and moral codes. The question us: at what cost and for what end purpose? During the Maggie Thatcher era, the mantra and the corporate aim was to "privatize" any and all public owned businesses, utilities, etc. that were functioning well, serving the people and actually making a profit. Net result was disastrous for the public as we paid more for everything from electricity to consumer goods. In the case of the utility company I worked for, we went on a "value added" campaign and held innumerable meetings, replete with paid lunches and resulting lost man hours. After two YEARS of these meetings with no visible results other than the closure of small satellite offices in small towns, staff reduction and the location off ALL records in one repository, I demanded to know exactly what the term "value added" meant to us and our customers. This caused consternation at the head table with no coherent statement of clarification forthcoming. Finally, my immediate supervisor and previous branch manager had the temerity to offer his definition: " I think it means - what services can we provide for a fee that we hitherto offered for free." He nailed it! We no longer were the "good guys" of the natural gas industry, providing fee diagnostic analysis of gas appliances and repairing poor work done by the trade. We now referred our customers to the tender mercies of the private sector. Having the temerity to challenge the new regime marked both of us and eventually I was offered a favourable "early retirement". My ex-boss was similarly let go and ended up suing for wrongful dismissal as his settlement was not as good as mine. I look forward to a 2018 of continued embarrassment for the Liberal party of Canada, starting with JT and targeting his Cabinet and MPs. A political pox on all their houses! Especially Bill Morneau's villa in France. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, December 31, 2017 12:32 pm From: dennisryoung@telus.net Subject: Feel at home on the range FEEL AT HOME ON THE RANGE The Algoma Rod and Gun Club. Well, the sawed-off shotgun should be good for a 10 year sentence on conviction... right? All the other firearms charges would be smoke and mirrors, though there is a cost to preparing a prosecution case on them. Concurrent sentences for serious criminals is the judiciary showing off that the idea of a self-governing people is a dead trunk on their living tree view of the Constitution. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 3 Jan 2018 15:23:16 -0600 From: Larry James Fillo Subject: "Woman Awakes to Suspect Standing by Her Bed, Shoots Him ... ...Dead" Woman Awakes to Suspect Standing by Her Bed, Shoots Him Dead Geoffrey Fairchild by AWR Hawkins3 Jan 201859 A Houston, Texas, woman who awoke to a suspect standing by her bad on New Year’s Day grabbed a gun and shot him dead. The incident occurred at Mirabella Apartments. The Houston Chronicle reports that the woman heard “the sound of broken glass.” When she looked up she saw the suspect standing by her bed. He began to close in on her, so she grabbed her pistol and fired a shot, killing him. When police arrived the woman told them she had seen the man hanging around the apartment complex, as if he were casing the area. Police did not charge the woman in the suspect’s death. Breitbart News reported that an armed grandma home alone on Christmas Eve confronted a would-be intruder, causing him to flee by letting him know he was “going to die.” Afterward she laughed, saying, “Maybe they break in to get one of my cookie jars, reckon? See if I had cookies in all of them.” http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/01/03/woman-awakes-suspect-standing-bed-shoots-dead/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- "Not in Canada, you say. Pity" Canada's rate of home invasions is 500 percent higher than in the U.S.A. This may be why. The number of repeat offenders in the U.S. must be lower, too. I remember reading about a murder trial a few years, ago. An acquaintance of mine had testified about going to visit his grandmother. He found her dead. She'd been the victim of a very brutal home invasion, rape and murder. The 21st Century Canada, brought into being by Cult. Marxists dedicated to their utopian totalitarian fantasies replacing Common-Law, they've produced the chaos and evil our ancestors fought, bled and died to save us from. ------------------------------ End of Cdn-Firearms Digest V17 #402 *********************************** Submissions: mailto:cdn-firearms-digest@bogend.ca Mailing List Commands: mailto:majordomo@bogend.ca Moderator email: mailto:owner-cdn-firearms@bogend.ca List owner: mailto:owner-cdn-firearms@bogend.ca FAQ list: http://www.canfirearms.ca/Skeeter/Faq/cfd-faq1.html Web Site: http://www.canfirearms.ca CFDigest Archives: http://www.canfirearms.ca/archives To unsubscribe from _all_ the lists, put the next four lines in a message and mailto:majordomo@bogend.ca unsubscribe cdn-firearms-digest unsubscribe cdn-firearms-chat unsubscribe cdn-firearms end (To subscribe, use "subscribe" instead of "unsubscribe".)
